This is the first time I decided to link up with Laura's weekly challenge. I am excited about entering! I am not a photographer just a girl who likes to snap pics here and there! I am submitting a picture of these pretty flowers one of my parents gave me as a symbol of her appreciation! That was so sweet of her and very sweet my flowers are!

I just have to share of how proud I am with myself! The family and I decided to go to the movies to see the Hunger Games on Saturday afternoon, but I was no where near finished with the book, and GOD forbid I went to see the movie prior to finishing it. So I was rushing against the clock and guess what? I did it! I finished that last sentence 44 minutes before sitting in front of the “Big Screen”. I was so glad that I read before I watched. Great Movie but even better book! Now off to begin “Catching Fire”!
Then it was off to baseball. Nothing like being at a baseball park near Jax Beach, beautiful breeze with a cloudless sky The joys of living in Florida! To top it all off, a double win on our double header! So proud of my son! “Go Crush”
The hubby and I ended our weekend by relaxing and snuggling with a DVD of The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo! Great Movie and Great way to end the weekend!

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear Friday morning and LINK UP!
1. If you were free to just hop in the car and drive, where would you go? Or, if you could hop a plane and go anywhere, where?
If I were to hop in a car and drive my guess would be that we would take a road trip to see the Grand Canyon and explore all it has to offer. If I could hop a plane, I would love to go to Europe. I have never left the US and would love to indulge in the delicacies another country has to offer.
2. What's your most recently read favorite book?
Funny you ask, currently I as trying so hard to finish Hunger Games before going to watch the movie tomorrow afternoon with the family. I know I can do it even if it means not sleeping tonight! hahahah! I only have 166 pages left.
3. What's your favorite Spring Break memory?
Favorite Spring Break Memory hmmmm well I remember being about 13 or 14 and my grandfather would take me and my bff to Keansburg, NJ and we would go swimming in the pool for hours all while my wonderful grandfather would wait for us. Then the next day he would take us roller skating that was the big thing to do back in the 80's remember that?
4. What do you put in your child's Easter basket? Or, for those w/o kids, what was put in your childhood basket?
In the Easter baskets for my kids I always put their recent favorite new release DVD and of course some jelly beans, easter hollow chocolate, and frozen PEEPS for me! They hate peeps~ I love Frozen peeps! Anyone ever try that?
5. Do you get a summer haircut?
I was just thinking about this the other day. I have caramel/blonde highlights and I really really have to re do them. Just trying to decide whether or not to do natural (dark brown) or continue my highlights. Its a decision that will have to be thought out. Cut wise NAAAAA I wanna let it grow..
So there you have it my 5QF!

So we said buh bye to winter and hello to spring. Springtime is my all time favorite season~why? Well, I love the birth of new flowers, the fullness of trees, and of course the warm weather followed by the longer daylight! Springtime is also the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ, a new beginning, a time to reflect that God gave his only son for our Salvation: John 3:16
Finally finished the laundry room and I have to say that I like it. At first I was not impressed with my laundry room being in the garage, hopefully we will be able to close off the laundry room and separate it from the manly looking garage. Keyword SOON!
This is what it looked like:
Nothing big but small changes are good!

You know, for as long as I can remember I have always had difficulties putting my thoughts on paper. I could never express what I wanted to say and basically never did. About a year ago I was surfing the internet and came across the magical world of "Blogland" and I was totally mesmerized. I think blogland had me at "Grab My Buttons" funny but true. I loved how bloggers gave tutorials, recipes, posted pictures and basically wrote about their lives. The fact that you could go from one blog to the next was so exciting, so exciting that I was wanted to create my own. Mind you, I am not a crafty person, nor am I great decorator, I know what I want the problem is getting there.LOL. I decided that I wanted to give it a try just to see how everything worked, it was really fun creating my blog and my templates and creating my own little button......But then I didn't know what to do or what to even write about. I began to abandon my blog, I stopped checking in.
About a year later, I decided to give it another try because after all I do enjoy reading blogs. It was only after reading a followers blog that I became inspired to post again because she basically said write for YOU. Write what makes YOU happy, sad, angry whatever...but don't write for others. She is right. This is about my life and what makes me happy. Sometimes we need a lil bit of inspiration to keep going ~ So Thank you fellow blogger Thank you for your post and inspiring me to write about whatever again.
